Protagonist, Percy Kilkenny, of tall ship sailing days, hails from the eastern seaboard of Canada. He clings to his family predecessor ways and lives in a nostalgic past, all the while alienating his own children.
But old age pays its timely visit and Percy faces surprising and unwanted circumstances that propel him into a reconciliation process.
